My name is Charmaine and I have been collecting toys since I was 5
years old, when I received my first Care Bear (a plush Tenderheart
bear). I have since collected many things, from Care Bears to Smurfs to
Nintendo to Fisher Price. I love finding toys that I've never seen
before, because it gives me the opportunity to research and to add to
my vast toy knowledge.
I started selling toys in 2002 at our local flea market, mainly because
my toy collections were taking over the house. I've continued to sell
toys because helping someone find a treasured toy from their childhood
is the greatest feeling in the world. I started selling on Ebay in
2004, using my cousin's account (transister1), and transitioned to my
own account (thegrandtoywizard - click here to view my feedback) in January 2006. I have now opened an
online store, where I will be listing my entire inventory, enabling
customers to buy the toys they want right now, with no waiting!
